NexVDO SDK Officially Includes Industry-Leading AV1 Codec

( Taipei, Taiwan ) This month, YUAN will announce the release of its latest multimedia software development kit, NexVDO SDK, which includes the industry-leading AV1 codec.
NexVDO SDK allows developers to easily integrate high-quality video streaming into their applications or more efficiently edit video content in AV1 format for UHD video output.

AV1 is an open-source and royalty-free video codec developed by the Alliance for Open Media ( AOM ) that is designed to improve compression efficiency, meaning that video files can be smaller without sacrificing quality. This will enable streaming providers to deliver high-quality video to more users. The codec also includes improved error resilience, which will ensure that video playback is less likely to be affected by errors in the transmission or storage of the video.

AV1 is compatible with a wide range of resolutions and frame rates for a variety of applications, including streaming, broadcasting, and VR/AR, and is the most advanced video codec available!
