YUAN's NexVDO AI Recognition Engine won the First Place in Taiwan with an Accuracy Rate of 99.67% in the NIST Face Recognition Test

YUAN High-Tech ( TW:5474 ) , a global leader in video capture module, announced that it ranked 1th Taiwan and 30th globally on the NIST FRVT 1:1 VISABOARD datasets with 99.67% accuracy rate.

NIST, the National Institute of Standards and Technology of the US Department of Commerce, conducts Face Recognition Vendor Test ( FRVT ), which measures the performance of automated face recognition technologies applied to a wide range of security applications.

The VISABOARD datasets cover 1,000,000 pairs of image from 100 different countries. The algorithms are ordered initially in terms of rank on the VISABORDER dataset, calculated using FNMR @ FMR = 10 ^-6.
